Week 9: West Virginia Staff Report

WVU takes a week off on the field, but scores on the recruiting trail, picking up four 3 commits.

AD Marshall Scully has got to be excited for LB Billy Roberts, a 6'2" 217lb rocket from Martinsburg HS(WV), Scully's hometown Bulldogs. 'Coverage' LB Johnny Peeples, 6'1" 208lb, is another homegrown recruit out of John Marshall HS(WV.) Coaches love the leadership skills of FB Bertram McKee, 5'10" 196lb, out of Marianna HS(FL.) Rounding out the week's commits, another WV native, DT Otha Robinson, 6'4" 311lb, by way of Brooke HS(WV.) The Mountaineers(5-3) look to deal another blow to a staggering Texas Longhorns(5-3) team in Morgantown this week.
