A nice pickup for UCLA with 4 RB Jeffrey Charles but a bad home loss against the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech - final score 24 - 31 which dropped the Bruins down to #24 (previous week was #10). Two costly INTs from Bruins QB David Lister proved to be the difference. The first one early in the 2nd quarter gave the Yellow Jackets the ball on UCLA's 18 yard line and 4 plays later Georgia Tech struck paydirt with a 1 yard run by Cody Johnson making the score 17 - 7 and in the same quarter after an impressive 11 play drive from the own 19 yard line to the GT 3 yard line Lister was intercepted in the endzone and the score still being 17 - 7 at half time. The Bruins ran out of time after scoring two TDs within 5 minutes at the end of the 4th quarter and fell short on the scoreboard 24 - 31. Next week is a bye for the Bruins before their last regular season game against the California Golden Bears in week 15.
