FSU is going to be a problem

For the Florida State Seminoles this year has been an unusually quiet season. With the defending champion Baylor Bears and top ranked Utah Utes grabbing all the media attention this year, Florida State sits quietly at the number three position – handling business each and every week. At 10-1 it'd be a hard argument that Florida State didn't deserve their ranking, and with their only loss being to Utah in Week 2 the Noles have put together quite a resume this season.

First, there is the record.

At 10-1 the Noles have put themselves in position to compete for the ACC Championship. Leading the Atlantic Division of the ACC. Of course that also means a date with the #4 Virginia Cavaliers and defending Heisman Trophy winner Daniel Kelso. It will be a rematch of last year's Championship that saw Florida State down Virginia en route to the championship.

Florida State has done everything it needs to put itself in a position to head back to the College Football Playoffs. A few BYE weeks and then a big match with Florida which always is on the agenda. Experts have Florida State both in the playoffs and a serious contender for the championship this year.

Florida State is one of the top teams in the country and their recruiting this year has been phenomenal. - Tobin

But the big news in Florida are that the Noles have been recruiting well this year – real well. FSU has picked up the following:

(Rankings are overall in country)

#1- DT

#5 – QB

# 6 – QB

#7 G

#8 WR

#10 T

#11 FS

#20 SS

If you weren't aware that Florida State is a problem every year, you're reminded loud and clear by that recruiting. Maybe the most alarming thing here for opponents of the Noles is that this list is only the top 20. They also have two – 4 star recruits and a few 3-stars thrown in for good measure.

We haven't talked a ton about FSU this year, but their Athletic Director is out to erase last year's disappointing end to the season. It seems they're well on the way to doing that. Florida State is going to be a problem this year and beyond.
