Oregon scored early and often in a 52-17 romp over Minnesota. The Gophers were never in this one, trailing 42-7 at halftime. The Ducks racked up 507 yards of offence with QB David Mock throwing 5 TD passes. The game featured the battle of two quarterbacks from the same city, Pearl City, Hawaii. The Gophers stumble down the stretch losing our last 3 games of the year and finish once again at 5-7. Disappointing way to end the season in a season where we were hoping to compete for a MAC championship and get into a bowl game. The mood is low around the Minnesota campus these days as AD blink tries to turn around this programs misfortunes. Only 2 recruits as well which is making the future look quite bleak at the moment
